Atlas is getting re-written, revamped, and possibly change hosts once drawings are caught up over at the doodle shop.

13.01.2008     Attention IE users

It appears the recent hacking events targeted towards FFXI-related website and players have hit FFXI Atlas today. But thanks to the quick reports from visitors, the malicious code was cleaned up from the front page right away. The rest of the website have been scanned as well for security measures.

Please be wary when surfing FFXI-related websites with IE. Make sure your ActiveX security is strong and safe. There are several precautions that can be taken, starting with going into Tools > Internet Options, and changing your security level to "Medium" or "High". Also be sure to keep your version of Windows up to date for security towards the recent events.

The website has been experiencing some downtimes and connection problems due to hardware issues. It should be resolved now.

12.03.2008     Link to FFXI.somepage.com appears to have been hacked

FFXI.Somepage.com appears to have been hacked with a virus/spyware. The link to FFXI.Somepage.com has been removed from our front page in order to avoid visitors getting virus/spyware from the FFXI.Somepage.com home page. It will be restored once their website is fixed.

For Windows users, please update Windows for a fix to avoid this spyware.
